Frequently Asked Questions
Expert advice on growing and caring for your David Austin roses.
When is the best time to plant my roses?
Bare root roses should be planted between November and April while they are dormant. Potted roses can be planted year-round, provided the ground is not frozen or waterlogged.
How do I know if my order has shipped?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number so you can monitor your roses' journey to your garden.
What is the 5-year guarantee?
We take pride in the health of our plants. If any rose fails to grow or dies within five years of purchase, we will offer a free replacement or a full refund.
Can I grow David Austin roses in pots or containers?
Yes, many of our varieties are perfectly suited for large containers. We recommend using a pot at least 18 inches deep and using a high-quality potting compost.
What should I do if my roses arrive damaged?
Please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or a credit to your account immediately.
Do you offer international shipping?
Due to agricultural regulations and the delicate nature of live plants, we currently only ship within the United Kingdom and specified regions in the EU and USA via our localized websites.
