R. hemisphaerica

A favorite of the old Dutch painters. Large, double, full-petalled, deeply globular flowers of Old Rose appearance. They are pale sulphur-yellow and have a sweet fragrance. Although beautiful, they fail to open in anything but dry weather. The growth is rather loose with pale green foliage.
